The Doctors of Fairfield Spine Center of Lancaster

So many patients tell us, "I can't believe the difference in how I feel after just several visits."  Well, this is very understandable since all of the research supports the science of natural healing and the body's natural recuperative powers.  The spine houses the "Nerve Highway" to all of our organs and their functions.  Doesn't it make sense that if there is any interruption (spinal dysfunction) in the nerve impulses that travel this highway, organ function will not be healthy or "optimal."

Over the 25 plus years that both of us have been practicing, chiropractic care has changed dramatically. Most notably, over the course of the past 15 years, a variety of research has been published which proves the effectiveness of chiropractic care. For headaches, neck, back pain and other joint related problems, exercising and manipulative therapy are two of the proven, most effective ways of helping these conditions. When you add that with the nutrition and diet counseling that we provide; improvement of an individual's health can be remarkable. That's what we both love about what we do...seeing people improve their health, which adds quality to life.

Chiropractic medicine is more than simply "fixing backs." This office follows the accepted premise that chiropractic medicine is: (1) An approach to health utilizing the bodies inherent and natural recuperative powers, (2) A healing science placing emphasis on maintaining the structural and mechanical  integrity of the spine and body and (3) A conservative method of health care without the specific use of drugs or surgery. This conservative approach has proven extremely treatment-effective and cost-effective.

Introducing Dr. James DePietro

Dr. DePietro states, "I had a back injury at the age of 12 while working for my father and, initially, tried main-stream medical treatment which included rest and medication." My back pain worsened and my parents took me to a chiropractor. The chiropractic doctor did a thorough examination and then I received an adjustment.  I experienced immediate pain relief which had a profound effect on me even at that young age.  It was at that time I knew I would someday become a chiropractor.   read more>>

Can chiropractic cure a child's ear infections?
Chiropractic isn't a cure for anything. Nor is it a treatment for ear infections. However, many children who suffer with ear infections also suffer from spinal problems in their neck, compromising nerves to the ear, depressing the immune system and preventing proper drainage. Can chiropractic help? Find out!
Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
